Two New Classes Announced!

We are proud to announce two new classes that we will begin offering in full-effect in 2015. We hopefully we'll be launching some pilot classes in December, so stay tuned.

Mike Teaching Armorers Course

2-DAY CERTIFIED ARMORERS COURSE

The Allstar Tactical certified armorers course is a 2-Day Hands-On Intensive course covering the skills needed to assemble, diagnose and repair malfunctions, function test, disassembly and cleaning, and more. Our armorers course is a combination of lecture, and hands-on exercises in order to ensure every student becomes proficient. Upon completion of our course, students will be able to build and assemble, repair, and maintain the AR15/M4/M16 platform with proficiency. Graduates will receive a three-year certificate.

All tools and anything else necessary will be provided. Students will receive a training manual with great reference materials to refer back to if need be. Rifles can be provided to students with prior arrangements. We prefer that our students bring their own rifle platforms to get familiar with their configurations and modifications.

This course is very knowledge intensive so be prepared!

1-DAY PRACTICAL CARBINE OPERATORS COURSE

The Allstar Tactical Practical Carbine Operators Course (PCO) is a one-day hands on course on basic operation skills with a carbine rifle, specifically the AR15/M4/M16 platform.  Students who take this course do not need to have any prerequisite skills prior to taking it.

Students will learn proficiency in weapon system knowledge, maintenance, malfunctions, administrative handling & loading/unloading, basic shooting platforms, ready positions, shooting responses and after action assessments.

Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate.

Discount Training for Firearms Appreciation Month!

This month, in celebration of NYFirearms.com's Firearms Apprecation Month, we have teamed up with Firearms Training of Western NY to offer some great training classes at discounted pricing! 

Next Sunday (9/16), Mike is holding an NRA RSO Certification Class. The class is being held at the Ontario Rod & Gun Club on Trimble Rd, Ontario, NY. Normally this class is $75 per person, including all materials for the class, but for NYFirearms.com Firearms Appreciation Month, we're offering the class for $60!! That's 20% savings! These classes fill up, so if you are interested, please make sure to contact us at training@allstartactical.com to reserve a spot ASAP!

Additionally, Jim from Firearms Training of Western NY is offering a discount on his Multi-State Permit class, which is being held directly after the RSO Class at ORGC. Below is some information on this class:

We are going to offer $25 off our Multi-Sate class to all NYF members or anyone referred by NYF members. That will be $125 for all 3 permits (UT/FL/AZ) including training, fingerprints, photos, materials and help during and well after the classes. 

Here is the best part, anyone who attends these classes as an NYF member or anyone who is referred by an NYF member will be eligible for 20 different prizes including 10 Pre-Ban 30 rounds mags and much more swag. I will make a complete list all of the swag in this post within the next week. 

It gets even better, as NYF member, if you send someone to attend any one of the classes you will be eligible for the prizes as well. If you send multiple people, your name will be put in the drawing for each student you send to us and you will be eligible to win multiple times. So.....if you already have these permits or cannot make the dates or locations you will still be able to win prizes as part of this community. You must notify us of the names or names of students you send to us so that we can track this at class sign in.

We had a great time at the class, and we were super excited to host our first training event. Our own Erica was taking the class along with many of our customers!
