Allstar Tactical DELTA Muzzle Brake

We are pleased to announce a brand new product: Our DELTA Muzzle Brake. This muzzle brake was designed and prototyped in-house and made locally for us by a local turning shop. It is made out of 4140 steel, hardened, and finished in QPQ Nitride (aka Melonite). With five sets of three ports, set at 72 degrees from each other, we are able to achieve great gas modulation and release, thereby reducing recoil and muzzle rise. Additionally, we worked with some local martial arts and impact fighting experts to make sure we designed the brake to be able to used as an impact device if needed.

These muzzle brakes are in production now and will be available for sale within 4-6 weeks. Retail MSRP is going to be extremely reasonable at $59 including a Mil-Spec crush washer. These will be available on our website as well as at our dealers. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about our new brakes.

Below is an unbiased review by one of our local FNG's who took one of our prototype brakes out to the range...

The "Stabby MK-1"
Today I went to the range to test out Allstar Tactical's new muzzle brake. To get a good idea of how efficient of a brake it is, I first installed a birdcage brake commonly found on AR-15 barrels. After firing a few rounds, I switched over to the Stabby MK-1 and noticed a definite difference in performance.

The first thing I noticed was the lack of recoil. It felt almost as soft as a .22lr being fired. The only push I felt was from the recoil spring sending the bolt back forward to the barrel.

The recoil did send the muzzle up and to the right, but no more than it would from any other non-compensating muzzle device.
The muzzle flash was something else!  The brake makes a nice flash and sends out heat waves about two feet out the sides of the brake.

There's a notable but completely tolerable concussion from the backblast coming from the muzzle brake's fifteen ports.
The teeth on the front of the brake aren't sharp enough to cut your fingers up, but they're sharp enough and definitely strong enough to dig deep into a wooden door to shoot out a dead bolt. Any typical angle for door breaching is easy with the teeth on this brake. It doesn't start to slip until you're as close as 30 degrees from the door.

Even in its non-heat treated state, it's a very durable and efficient muzzle brake.

We understand the frustration of many of our customers who have waited for our Delta series lowers as well as our Bravo series billet lowers and uppers. Much of that has been out of our control and in the hands of the machineshop we were using to make those parts for us. However, we are trying to bring the production in-house to prevent any delays in the future. It also gives us much more control over the final product!

Because of these extreme delays, we wanted to offer something special to the customers who have been understanding and stuck with us and did not cancel their order throughout all of these time delays. We will be offering 50% off a matched billet set that will come off our new CNC mill. You heard that right, get 50% off one billet matched set if you were a customer of ours throughout the first half of this year!**

We very much appreciate ALL of our customers and would like to extend our sincere apologies for the lack of communication, and delays on orders.

** This offer is extended to customers who placed an order with us between November 2012 and September 2013, and who have no canceled their order. **

On a recent business trip, our fearless leader, Mike, met up with Rob Pincus from the Personal Defense Network. He had a chance to do some filming down in St. Augustine, FL. Check out the video and article over on their website.

Defensive Rifle Hand Positions on Personal Defense Network

"Rob Pincus is with rifle specialist Mike Centola of Allstar Tactical to discuss where the support hand should be placed on a long gun. Mike demonstrates a few positions and talks about what situations they might be used in. Both Mike and Rob agree that different circumstances will dictate different hand positions and personal preference will influence support-hand placement on a rifle."

We have decided to remove USPS (United States Postal Service) as an option from the website until we can lock it into certain items only. We have had an issue with a gas tube being bent when shoved into a mail box. We also want all of our firearms and higher value products to go out under UPS (United Parcel Service) as we believe we'll gain a better service there. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for you, and we will work on getting USPS re-added for schwag and low cost items!

Allstar Tactical Forged Lowers

Just wanted to give y'all a heads up regarding much of our preordered products...

DELTA Forged Lowers
We have finally received our first batch of 500 forged DELTA lower receivers. We didn't realize how much time it would ahve taken for shipping, anodizing, etc. Erica is feverishly going through the orders and filling them as fast as possible, so please keep an eye out in your email for any status updates regarding FFL's, pickup times, etc.The next batch of 500 lowers are scheduled to start machining in the next week or two.

BRAVO Billet Lowers/Uppers
We expected the first 25 sets of these to be in our possesion several weeks ago, and when we finally received contact from the machine shop, we were sort of given the runaround. We were told that "We have had machining difficulties that affected the specs on a few lowers.  We needed to correct the problem before we were able to machine more." This really put us in a bad situation but we're told they may be ready to ship out to us next week. We are really very sorry for the delays regarding this product, but it is completely out of our hands at this point and we're at the mercy of this other machineshop. We are hoping to correct this problem by tooling up our new CNC mill and producing quality receivers in high volume. We very much appreciate your patience regarding this matter and will continue to keep you updated as we get information.

We have received all of the new Liberty shirts and they are in-stock and ready to ship now. The Guns, Shoes & Tattoos girls shirts are now in stock as well! We are still waiting on the Don't Hate Me Cause I'm Black, and Skull t-shirts to be finished printing at the screenprinters. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!

Once again, thank you for being patient with us. We are growing rapidly, and will start the hiring process this month to add some people to our team! We are hoping to cut down lead-times, and get products shipped out to you guys in a timely manner. Thanks for all of your support! Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, for updates and chances to win FREE schwag!
